We make things really simple with a standard trip that ends at our facility and your vehicle. You will NOT board a van at the end of your paddle to get back to your car.

PRESERVE-PARK (6.2 MILE TRIP)
This is our standard trip, always available, and
perfect for beginners
This trip begins with a 5 mile paddle through the Hammer-Stern Wilderness Preserve. The trip ends with a spectacular paddle through a 1 mile section at Hanging Rick State Park, along the Dan River Bluffs, a short distance upstream of the DRC riverside shop where you left your vehicle and boarded our shuttle van.
LARGER GROUPS
Larger groups have special needs and the Dan River Company has the experience and talent to deliver. Whether you are planning a school, office, church, or club river trip, we've got your covered.
We have over 40 kayaks and 8 canoes to help get your large group on the water. Our vans hold up to 14 people in each, allowing us to take 42 people to the put-in at a time.
